Terms of Service
The full agreement governing your use of Demogent: plans, billing, ownership of what you export, and acceptable use.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Demogent(the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and subscribers, and are effective as of August 18, 2026.
The Service
Demogent is a motion graphics demo video generator. Choose a template, add your product details, such as a logo and screenshots, and build your video on a timeline using ready-made components.
The Service is provided “as is”. Features, plans, and pricing may change with reasonable notice.
Account Registration & Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- One account per person. Creating duplicate or fake accounts is prohibited.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate information when registering. Circumventing signup limits with disposable accounts violates these Terms.
- We reserve the right to refuse registration or terminate accounts at our discretion.
Plans & Usage
Demogent offers a free tier and paid plans with higher usage limits and additional features. Plan details and pricing are shown on our pricing page and may change from time to time.
- Usage limits (renders, project count, export quality) are tied to your plan and reset each billing cycle.
- Unused allowance does not roll over between cycles.
- The Free plan is licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. A Pro purchase is required to use exported videos commercially, as described in the Intellectual Property section below.
- We may grant bonus allowance at our discretion, such as for reported bugs, promotions, or service issues.
Subscriptions & Billing
Auto-Renewal
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. You authorise us to charge your payment method on file. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
Price Changes
We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price increase before it takes effect for your account. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Failed Payments
If a payment fails, we will retry over a reasonable window. If it remains unresolved, your subscription will be paused until payment succeeds.
Taxes
Prices shown may exclude applicable taxes, calculated at checkout based on your billing address where required by law.
Lifetime Access
Demogentmay offer a one-time “lifetime” purchase, sold in limited quantity to early customers. This section governs that purchase and takes precedence over the subscription terms above where the two differ.
What Lifetime Means
Lifetime refers to the operational lifetime of the product, not the lifetime of the purchaser. It grants continued access to the editor at the tier described at the time of purchase, for as long as we operate the service. It is not a guarantee that the service will operate indefinitely.
What Is Included
The video editor and its core capabilities: the timeline, motion components, text, background and audio tools, live preview, and video export at the quality stated on the pricing page at the time of your purchase. Included features will not be moved behind an additional charge for lifetime holders.
AI Features Are Sold Separately
Any AI-assisted capability we release in future is an optional layer on top of the editor and is not included in a lifetime purchase. AI usage carries a real per-use cost and will be sold separately, such as through credit packs. The editor remains fully usable without any AI feature.
New Paid Modules
We may introduce new products or add-on modules that carry their own charge. Doing so will not reduce or remove the capabilities included in your lifetime purchase.
Non-Transferable
A lifetime purchase is tied to the account that bought it and may not be sold, shared, or transferred to another person without our written consent.
If the Service Closes
If we discontinue the service, we will give reasonable advance notice and a window to export your projects and rendered videos. A lifetime purchase does not entitle you to a pro-rata refund after the refund window described in our Refund Policy has passed.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Demogent to:
- Submit logos, screenshots, or product material you do not own or have permission to use.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying generation pipeline.
- Automate requests at a rate that degrades service quality for other users.
- Generate or export videos that infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Attempt to circumvent plan limits or subscription enforcement.
Violations may result in immediate account suspension without refund.
Intellectual Property
Your Output
You own the videos you build on either plan. Videos exported on the Free plan are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. Upgrading to Pro grants a full commercial licence: you may then use, modify, and ship your exported videos in any project, commercial or otherwise, without restriction. You remain responsible for holding the rights to any logo, screenshot, or media you bring into a project.
Your Input
You represent that you have the right to submit any URL, logo, screenshot, or content to the Service. By submitting them, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process them solely to generate your video.
Our Platform
The Demogent platform, including its codebase, rendering pipeline, and design system, is owned by Demogent and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you no rights in the platform beyond using the Service as described.
Feedback
If you provide feedback or bug reports, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free right to use it to improve the Service.
Termination
By you: Cancel your subscription any time from your dashboard. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. Account deletion is available in Settings. It closes your account immediately and signs you out; your data is kept so you can restore the account by signing back in. Contact us to have it erased permanently.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, fraudulent activity, or security risk. For non-material violations we will attempt to notify you first; for severe violations, termination may be immediate. No refund is issued upon termination for cause.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR THAT VIDEOS YOU BUILD WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS. Always review your video before publishing it.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEMOGENT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
